Position Summary As the Service & Process Engineer, you will provide day-to-day engineering support to production operations, troubleshoot technical issues, develop and improve repair processes, and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and quality requirements. You will work closely with operations teams, manufacturers, vendors, and customers to drive quality, efficiency, and safety improvements throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities Engineering & Technical Support Provide daily technical support to production teams for assigned products and processes. Create, maintain, and improve operational routing and process documentation. Define repair scopes for in-process issues, non-standard inspections, and repair requests. Conduct warranty investigations, root cause analysis, reporting, and corrective actions. Support troubleshooting efforts to resolve process and operational challenges. Engage directly with customers as required regarding technical investigations and repairs. Process Improvement & Development Liaise with OEMs and manufacturers to resolve technical concerns. Develop and implement new repair processes based on manufacturer data and specifications. Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, safety, and turnaround times. Collaborate with operations and external vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements. Lead and support special engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For Required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a Mechanical Engineering Technologist Diploma; equivalent aviation engineering experience will also be considered. Strong understanding of gas turbine engines, their operation, and control systems. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and industry standards. Experience using precision measuring equipment. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Experience working within a regulated quality management environment. Knowledge of special processes such as: Welding Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Electroplating Metallizing Painting Non-structural bonding Knowledge of machining processes including: Lathes Grinding Milling Manual machining tools

Travel Requirements Valid Class 5 Driver's License. Ability to travel within Winnipeg as required. Ability to travel frequently within Canada and the United States.
