Location: Stratford, ON (Onsite) Salary Range: $22 - $26.27 plus shift premium Vacancy Type: Contract Supplemental Pay: Shift Premium Schedule: Days, Afternoons, or Nights Relocation: Not Available Travel: None As our next CNC Setter Operator, you'll support the production team by setting up and operating CNC equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and helping maintain efficient manufacturing operations. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment while developing your machining and problem-solving skills. Potential to build a future career within Johnson Electric. What You'll Be Doing: Set up CNC machines and install/remove tooling, chucks, collets, and adapters as required. Load and unload parts while maintaining production targets and quality standards. Monitor machine performance, make size adjustments, and index cutting inserts as required. Collect and chart SPC data according to process specifications. Follow all Environmental Health & Safety, Quality, and operational procedures. Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives within the department. What We're Looking For: Currently enrolled in a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machining or related Manufacturing program. Basic knowledge of machining principles, CNC equipment, and manufacturing processes. Understanding of CNC controls and programming fundamentals. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills.
