Job summary
Position: Java Lead- Wealth management Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 10+ years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Java Lead- Wealth management to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and RESTful APIs. Key Responsibilities: Lead Full-stack development using Java 17, Spring Boot, Microservices, BFF, Angular 16+, and TypeScript. Design and develop secure, scalable REST APIs and high-performance web applications. Drive technical architecture, coding standards, design patterns, and SDLC best practices. Lead CI/CD, DevOps, automated deployments, code quality, and security remediation initiatives. Implement unit/integration testing, code coverage, performance tuning, and production issue resolution. Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams on sprint planning, estimation, code reviews, and production support. Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across development initiatives. Work with Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, Maven/Gradle, and SonarQube. Leverage AWS/Azure and containerization technologies as required. Apply financial services experience, preferably in Wealth Management, Brokerage, or Banking. Required Skills: 5+ years of Angular experience with responsive UI development. Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, BFF, REST APIs, Angular 16+, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Strong knowledge of API security, software architecture, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices. Proven leadership, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and mentoring skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Financial services domain experience is highly preferred.
