Role- Solution Architect with Cyber Security/Risk background Location – Toronto, ON Duration- Full Time/Permanent Hiring Job Description Assess existing business requirements, business processes and application setup to support the overall compliance, governance, corporate security and policy library technology strategy, focusing on architecture blueprints, capabilities models, and proven enterprise patterns. Partner closely with Business Partners, IT Team and Vendors to document the Current State Architecture for our Business Managed Applications. Effectively Identify and manage risks through risk assessment, to ensure all products and deliverables adhere to CLIENT’s policies and security directives Creatively communicate and present the Architecture Blueprint to several different audiences, through both written and verbal communications. Develop ongoing knowledge of current and emerging technologies. Participate in day-to-day execution of architecture strategies. Help drive the organization towards targeted architecture states and improve the maturity of the architecture practice. What do you need to succeed? Must-have: Strong experience in information technology development, design and architecture roles. Knowledge of architecture aspects, including business architecture, data architecture and cyber security architecture. Strong analytical, communication, presentation and facilitation skills. Proven ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity, and demonstrated capability to lead/manage cross-functional partnerships Growth mindset, willingness to be constantly learning new skills, listening to understand Nice-to-have: Experience building and deploying solutions to public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) Knowledge of development languages like .NET, Java, Spring, Python, Docker containers, Kubernetes, Devops and JavaScript. Good awareness and experience in public and private cloud platforms would be an added value.
