The Opportunity: We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Project Architect to join our Vancouver team, where we are involved in exciting work across a range of building types, including commercial, mixed-use, retail, industrial, hospitality, public buildings, and healthcare. In this role, you’ll take a leading role in bringing projects to life—from guiding the overall design process to providing specialized technical expertise on key project components. Beyond project delivery, you’ll have the opportunity to influence design direction, solve complex challenges, and mentor emerging talent, contributing to the growth and development of our design team. Experience delivering Defence projects is essential for this role. Here's what you’ll be doing at Kasian: Work with talented architects and technologists to produce quality projects for private sector clients Develop project criteria, the scope of services, detailed work plans, drawing lists, schedules, and resource (staff, technical, and budget) requirements over the project lifecycle Push the boundaries of design while meeting the needs of clients and end-users; participate in stakeholder meetings, create design concepts and presentation material Lead, motivate, and manage the project team to produce successful design and construction documentation Coordinate with project consultants (ie., electrical, mechanical, structural) Resolve complex design and technical issues Manage client relationships and actively develop these throughout the project process Ensure projects are delivered effectively through efficient resource management and by achieving scheduled milestones Undertake site reviews and construction administration Here’s what you bring to Kasian: B. Arch or M. Arch from an accredited architectural program, coupled with a minimum of 10+ years of architectural experience; 5 years minimum in defence projects. Registration with a provincial regulatory board and Secret Level clearance required Effective written and oral communication skills Experience leading projects of at least $25m (construction value) with minimal supervision An innovative and forward-thinking approach to design and a natural curiosity for staying current with new trends, materials, and construction methods Strong technical knowledge and technical drawing experience in Revit Excellent graphic communication and presentation skills An ability to add value to all stages of project delivery What We Offer: A creative and collaborative environment National project exposure and opportunity to support high-profile pursuits Mentorship and learning opportunities in business strategy and development Great downtown office location with easy access to public transport Flexibility and work-life balance in a values-driven workplace Salary starts at $100,000+ per annum, based on a 40-hour work week. Requirements

Candidates must have a B.Arch or M.Arch, 10+ years of architectural experience (including 5 years in defence), and a Secret Level clearance. Proficiency in Revit and experience leading projects with a construction value of at least $25m are required.
