The Feed Truck Operator is responsible for accurately mixing and delivering feed to cattle while maintaining clean bunks and monitoring animal health. They must also perform daily equipment checks and ensure all feeding protocols and records are strictly followed.

Location: Sandy Hill (near Taber, AB) Position Type: Full-Time | Permanent (minimum 40-50 hours per week) Reports To: Rodolfo Pena, Feedlot Manager Who We Are Kasko Cattle Co. is a family-owned cattle feeding and farming operation with four locations across Southern Alberta. We feed up to 45,000 head annually and are driven by one goal: “To grow food better and enrich the lives of our people.” Core Values Teamwork | Respect | Positive Attitude | Adaptable | Dependable The Role As a Feed Truck Operator, you’ll play a key role in daily feedlot operations by ensuring cattle are fed accurately, consistently, and on schedule to support animal health and performance. The Bigger Picture What you do every day directly impacts cattle health, feed efficiency, and the quality of food we produce. What You’ll Do Feed cattle accurately and consistently according to ration plans Mix and deliver feed following specified ingredients and instructions Maintain clean bunks, minimize feed waste, and manage silage quality Monitor cattle behavior and report health or feeding concerns Complete feed records and ensure compliance with feed protocols Perform daily equipment checks and follow maintenance schedules Support general feedlot operations and assist where needed What You Bring Strong attention to detail and consistency Mechanically inclined and safety-focused Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Comfortable working outdoors in all conditions Experience in agriculture or feedlot operations is an asset Equipment operation experience (loader, etc.) preferred Work Schedule Typically, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM Weekend and holiday shifts required as scheduled Extended hours as needed Why Join Kasko?
