Education, preferably with a major in one of the following subjects: remedial education, andragogy, English – second language or English – mother tongue. The Board may, at its discretion, waive any or all of the afore-mentioned qualification requirements if it finds a suitable candidate who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement and who accepts, as a condition of employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board Requirements Experience in adult education. Experience in literacy teaching. Experience in multi-level classes. Experience in teaching the following subjects: English, mathematics, technology, sciences, personal, social and professional development. Experience in teaching English as a second language would be an asset Assets Knowledge and teaching of the MEES programs. Experience in teaching English and French as a second language. Knowledge of the Moodle platform. Classification / Salary / Benefits Salary & benefits as per the Teachers Collective Agreement of the Board: from $54,119 to $105,432 annually depending on experience and qualifications. All benefits are prorated based on the percentage of the task. Requirements

Candidates must hold a Teacher’s Certificate or a Bachelor of Education, with preference given to those with majors in remedial education, andragogy, or English. Experience in adult literacy and teaching diverse subjects such as math, science, and technology is required.
