Kayla's Children Centre was founded in May 2017 as a non-profit organization that resulted from the merger of Zareinu Educational Centre (founded in 1989) and Project AIM (founded in 2007). Both share a passionate desire to empower children with special needs to develop life enhancing skills, self-esteem, and confidence. Recognizing our synergies, Zareinu and Project AIM concluded that as a single entity we could be a dream come true for children with special needs and their families, providing everything they require under one roof, year round, in a state-of-the-art facility. Our mission is to provide high-quality, cutting edge educational, therapeutic, and recreational programs for infants, children, and teens with special needs, and to assist their families by offering support and respite.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant will prepare and implement therapeutic activities under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist across school and clinic settings. They are responsible for maintaining accurate client documentation and ensuring equipment and treatment areas meet sanitization standards.

The Personal Support Worker provides essential personal care, including toileting, hygiene, and feeding, to students with special needs. They also assist in implementing IEP goals and maintaining a clean, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.

The Special Education Teacher will create and implement Individual Education Plans while providing whole group, small group, and 1:1 support. They are responsible for managing classroom behavior, tracking student data, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of therapists.
