Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst – Hedge Accounting Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Contract: 1 Year | Possible extension Role Overview: Seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with strong hedge accounting domain expertise to support a Treasury Technology initiative. The role focuses on translating business requirements into functional specifications and supporting system implementation, testing, and validation. Key Responsibilities Gather and document requirements from Treasury, Finance, Accounting, and Technology stakeholders. Translate hedge accounting processes and business rules into functional and technical specifications. Analyze application workflows, system configurations, and functionality gaps. Write SQL queries to analyze and validate data. Review JSON configuration files and structured technical information. Collaborate with developers, architects, and business teams on solution design. Support testing, issue investigation, and delivery validation. Required Qualifications Proven hedge accounting domain knowledge and application/project experience. Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications. Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with JSON/configuration files. Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with specialized hedge accounting solutions and Treasury systems. Exposure to AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
