We are an established industrial property management company seeking a highly focused tactical Property Accountant to support our Edmonton light industrial portfolio. This is a pure individual contributor role. Teamwork is an essential aspect of the role and the role is structured to have no direct reports or people management requirements. Instead, your success will be driven by your precision, speed, and deep technical expertise in accounting execution. What You Will Do (Tactical Focus) Full-Cycle Accounting: Execute month-end and year-end accounting procedures for our muti-entity light industrial portfolio. Commercial Recoveries: Calculate and execute complex Triple Net (NNN) lease reconciliations, including annual Common Area Maintenance (CAM) and property tax adjustments. Ledger Ownership: Maintain accurate accounts receivable and payable, ensuring flawless posting of tenant charges, utilities, and supplier costs. Audit Readiness: Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial data packages that align with institutional and IFRS reporting standards. Lease Administration: Review industrial leases to ensure financial terms, escalations, and chargebacks are executed perfectly. What We Are Looking For 10+ Years of Experience: Proven track record in full-cycle senior bookkeeping, specifically within commercial property management. Industrial Expertise: Deep familiarity with Triple Net (NNN) leases, CAM reconciliations, and capital expenditure (CapEx) tracking. Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Sage and expert-level Excel skills. Independent Execution: A professional who takes pride in high-speed, low-error production and requires zero micro-management.
