From answering questions and booking reservations to assisting with trip changes and providing travel information, you'll play an important role in delivering positive and professional customer experience. Hours of Work This position currently averages between 10-12 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours in the near future, as our operations continue to grow. Service and office hours are scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Successful candidates must have weekday daytime availability, and be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and split shifts as required. Ebus BC operates 365 days per year, including weekends and statutory holidays. Occasional overtime may be required and depend on schedule or operational needs. What You'll Do * Welcome and assist customers in person, over the phone, and online while delivering a professional customer experience. * Book, modify, and cancel reservations accurately. * Process payments, refunds, exchanges, and other customer transactions. * Assist customers with online bookings, account access, and website navigation. * Provide information regarding schedules, routes, fares, travel policies, delays, and service updates. * Contact passengers regarding schedule changes, cancellations, delays, and other travel-related information. * Assist passengers with check-in, boarding, luggage handling, and travel inquiries. * Monitor boarding activities and verify passenger manifests. * Maintain a clean, organized, and professional ticket office environment. * Complete administrative, operational, and reporting tasks accurately and on time. * Respond calmly and professionally to customer concerns and unexpected situations. What We're Looking For * Exceptional customer service skills and a customer-first attitude. * Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Comfortable using computers, booking systems, point-of-sale systems, and Microsoft Office applications. * Previous customer service experience in transportation, hospitality, tourism, retail, or similar customer-facing environments is considered an asset. * Previous experience handling cash, processing transactions, or working with reservation systems is considered an asset. * First Aid certification is considered an asset. * Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check is required as a condition of employment. * Flexibility to remain on-site beyond your scheduled shift when required.
