As a Casual Bus Driver in Cranbrook, you’ll provide safe, reliable, transportation to cover sick days, leave of absences and holidays. You will be trained on different routes/services, like HandyDART, flex and health connections. What You’ll Do Safely transport passengers and provide door-to-door assistance Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility aids Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness Operate a two-way radio and manage fares accurately Maintain a safe and harassment-free environment for everyone Report any incidents, vehicle defects, or passenger safety concerns Fuel, wash, and check fluid levels of the vehicle Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle as required by Provincial legislation and record any minor vehicle defects onto the vehicle daily What We’re Looking For Valid Driver's License - minimum of Class 2 Ability to pass the required enhanced criminal record check, and drug & alcohol test Provide a clean driver's abstract Ability to work independently and interact politely with the public and staff Physically able to perform all job duties Exceptional customer service skills Bonus Points If You Have Previous taxi or shuttle driving experience Class 1 or 2Q license What We Offer Wage: $33.16 per/hour for Conventional Bus Training Wage: $23.21 per/hour Union: CUPE Local 2087 About Keolis: Keolis provides mobility to over 3.4 billion passengers annually across 15 countries, operating everything from commuter trains and automated metros to shared bicycles. Safely transport passengers on various routes, including HandyDART and health connections, while providing door-to-door assistance. Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a safe, harassment-free environment for all riders.

Candidates must possess a minimum Class 2 Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract. Ability to pass an enhanced criminal record check and drug and alcohol tests is required.
