Job details
KerlHive is a venture operated and managed by Heelheid Ventures Studio LLC. KerlHive helps experienced nurses and caregivers across the US, Canada, and the UK build independent care practices. We provide the coaching, community infrastructure, and business frameworks that make that transition possible. Our programme is live, our community is active, and we are now looking for the right person to run it from the inside. ABOUT THE ROLE The Community Manager is the daily human presence inside our private WhatsApp community of nurses and caregivers. This is not a moderation role and it is not a customer service role. It is a relationship role. You will know who in the community is close to making a move. You will know who has gone quiet and why. You will know what to say to bring someone back into the conversation without it feeling like pressure. And you will know how to make sure every member who is ready to take the next step actually gets there, whether that is booking a one-on-one call with the founder or showing up to our weekly live coaching session. The person who thrives here has built real engagement in an online community before and understands that the difference between a group that is alive and one that is simply full of members comes down to daily, intentional human contact. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Owning the day-to-day life of our private WhatsApp community of nurses and caregivers Welcoming every new member personally and making sure they know what to do next Building relationships with members, tracking their progress, and keeping engagement consistent and meaningful Identifying members who have gone quiet and re-engaging them with personal, direct outreach Moderating our weekly Sunday Live coaching session: managing the room, surfacing the right questions, and making sure the founder can focus entirely on delivery Getting members to book a one-on-one Clarity Call with the founder and following up personally with anyone who books but does not show up Reviewing all content before it goes into the community to make sure it is on purpose and aligned with what members actually need Submitting a weekly report covering active members, new joins, dormant members, conversations opened, and calls booked WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Demonstrable experience managing or growing an active online community, whether on WhatsApp, Facebook Groups, Discord, Slack, Telegram, or a similar platform Natural ability to build trust and warmth in written one-on-one and group conversations Strong written English communication that is clear, warm, and credible to a North American professional audience Self-directed and dependable in a fully remote environment Reliable availability during US and Canada Eastern Time business hours, including Sunday evenings for the weekly live session Familiarity with the nursing, caregiving, or broader healthcare space is a significant advantage and will reduce your onboarding time considerably WHAT YOU WILL NOT NEED TO DO Close sales or conduct enrolment calls Follow a sales script Cold outreach to strangers Manage advertising or paid campaigns Handle clinical or medical queries COMPENSATION AND TERMS Performance-based monthly retainer Fully remote, contractor position Open to candidates worldwide US and Canada Eastern Time availability is required HOW TO APPLY Please do not submit a generic application without reading this description fully.
