POSITION DETAILS We are currently hiring for two positions at our Cochrane location: • One (1) Permanent Full-Time Position • One (1) Full-Time Contract Position ending March 2028 RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping. * Implement an Emergent Curriculum. * Support children's emotional, physical, and behavioural well-being while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. * Maintain attendance records and complete health and safety checks. * Work collaboratively with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as required. * Support children through transitions in and out of the classroom. * Meet all classroom ratios as outlined. * Participate actively in team meetings and professional development workshops. SPECIFICATIONS * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. * Ability to utilize computer systems for documentation, reporting, and classroom operations. * Strong collaborator and team player. * Ability to take initiative both inside and outside the classroom. * Strong problem-solving skills. QUALIFICATIONS * Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 2 Certification required. * Current Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check. * Valid Standard Child Care First Aid and CPR Level B certification. * Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds. Requirements
