Work with a team using hand tools and, when applicable, inspect and maintain equipment. Follow the company safety program, stay aware of job tasks and hazards, communicate discrepancies, plan ahead, and perform other assigned tasks.

Operate large excavators to perform bulk excavation, mass grading, and site stripping on civil construction projects. Coordinate with haul crews, track production totals, and ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with site plans.

The role involves managing GPS grade files, drone-based site data, and layout accuracy to support field crews. Additionally, the technician assists with quality control of materials and supports the estimating team with drawing reviews and take-offs.
