KIT Recruitment is partnering with a new client in the baked goods manufacturing industry to recruit a polished and proactive Office Manager for their Etobicoke location. This individual will take ownership of daily office operations and help keep the business running smoothly. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys being the central point of contact within a busy manufacturing office and takes pride in creating an organized, efficient, and welcoming workplace. The Office Manager will oversee daily office operations while supporting employees, executives, vendors, onboarding, travel, company events, and internal communications. Office Manager Details Permanent, full-time onsite position Salary of $55,000–$65,000 per year Comprehensive benefits package Employee assistance program Paid time off Casual dress and company events Office Manager Responsibilities Oversee daily office operations, including supplies, equipment, mail, couriers, facilities, vendors, budgets, and workplace health and safety. Act as the main contact for building management, landlords, contractors, and external service providers. Maintain office policies, procedures, inventories, and an organized, fully functioning workplace. Coordinate with outsourced IT providers regarding hardware, software, network issues, repairs, and replacements. Set up and decommission employee workstations, equipment, accounts, software access, and credentials. Troubleshoot basic technology issues and escalate more complex concerns to IT support. Support HR with onboarding, orientation, welcome materials, employee records, directories, organizational charts, and interview logistics. Plan company events, offsite meetings, celebrations, recognition programs, catering, contracts, budgets, and onsite logistics. Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, budgets, policy compliance, and last-minute changes. Draft and distribute announcements, office updates, memos, newsletters, presentations, and other internal communications. Maintain internal communication channels, including the company intranet and office bulletin boards. Support executives and department leaders with calendars, meetings, agendas, minutes, action-item follow-up, expenses, and office budget tracking. Office Manager Qualifications Minimum of three years of experience in office management, administration, executive support, or a related role. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Experience supporting executives, employees, vendors, and external service providers. Comfortable coordinating basic IT and technology needs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. Familiarity with HRIS or ticketing systems a plus. Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information. Proactive, dependable, resourceful, and service-oriented. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
