The Liquid Transload Operator is responsible for loading and offloading various liquid commodities and repositioning tractors within the yard. They will also operate rail equipment and ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with safety protocols.

Kleysen Group is looking for reliable, safety minded individuals to join our Edmonton Distribution Centre in a Full-Time Permanent (year-round) positions! Our Edmonton yard facility spans over 80 developed acres with rail services into our yard so that we can load and offload a variety of commodities including steel, construction materials, bulk and liquid products. Kleysen is also one of the 39 companies that make up the Mullen Group. We are looking for Liquid Transload Operators to join our team. Experience is not required however is an asset for transload and equipment operating. Our safety team and foreman will work with you to learn the job and develop your skills to ensure a successful career in your new role. The Shift: Rotating 11.5-hour shifts including days (6AM - 5:30PM) and nights (6PM - 5:30AM) (i.e., 2 shifts days, 3 shifts nights, days off) *Night shift comes with a 6% premium above base rate The position: * Transload/blend liquid product * Shunt/reposition tractors * Operate rail king (training will be provided but experience is an asset) * The work is outdoors (all weather conditions), and we have indoor break and change rooms for women & men * Some positions will be required to be clean shaven to accommodate Respiratory Protection. For Respiratory protection to fit and provide adequate protection, it must fit tight to the skin of the face. ON-THE-JOB TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED. Ideally the successful candidate will have: * Safety-first approach * Must have reliable transportation to and from work (no public transportation available) * Good physical condition (able to lift 50lbs) * Strong work ethic and reliability to attend all shifts on time * Minimum 18 years of age * Willingness to work overtime * Forklift, Loader and Rail Car Mover experience is an asset * As this is a safety-sensitive position, candidates will be required to comply with our Controlled Substances policy (pre-employment/post-incident drug test is required) Why choose Kleysen?
