Job summary
We are looking to add a Permanent Full-Time Yard Administrator & Operations Support to join our Bulk Operations team in Winnipeg, MB. Position Details: Reporting to the Manager, Yard Services, the Yard Administrator & Operations Support provides essential administrative and operational support to the Bulk Yard team. This role is responsible for entering documents such as bills of lading, scale tickets, and fuel orders into the system to ensure accurate, up‑to‑date records. The Administrator assists drivers by directing them to load outbound products or unload inbound products, and by preparing and distributing documentation to drivers and carriers to support timely customer deliveries. The Administrator will operate the scale for inbound and outbound products, ensuring weights comply with road regulations. They will also work closely with Yard personnel by supplying required documentation and communicating any changes to orders throughout the day. Additional duties will support yard personnel, dispatch, and finance team members as needed. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with a ½ hour lunch. Overtime during busy season (September to April) may be required. Ideally the successful candidate will have: * Office administration experience or related training * Knowledge of transportation & yard operations (over the road, rail, transloading, etc.) considered a strong assist * Effective oral and written communication skills * High accuracy and attention to detail * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of team members * Excellent time management and organizational abilities to handle high volumes or work, shifting demands and multiple information sources * Proficient in Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and ability to learn new software. * Demonstrated record of reliable attendance * The successful candidate will require a reliable vehicle as our office is located outside of public transport.
