Since commencing operations in 1988, Knappett has grown to be a leading provider of civil construction services for major infrastructure, residential subdivision development, underground utility installation & replacement, road building, land clearing projects in British Columbia. Over the past 30 years Knappett Industries Ltd. has maintained a strong and accelerating growth rate, with operations currently serving Western Canada. Responsibilities: Follow all safety protocols and contribute to the success of the safety program Perform tasks as required on construction site Responsibilities dependent on role Requirements: Ability to take and follow instruction Professional demeanour when dealing with the public Able to work outside in all-weather at all times of the year Minimum two years’ experience in civil construction Ability to work as a team as well as independently when required Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds or more Able to do extensive physical labour Valid provincial driver’s license Assets: Recent working experience in similar role First aid training This position is compensated at an hourly rate. Employees are eligible for enrollment in our company benefits package following successful completion of a three month probationary period.
