Our Turnaround & Restructuring team in Toronto is looking for a professional like you with the skills and drive to make a real difference. As Manager, Turnaround & Restructuring, Deal Advisory, you are a motivated team leader with expertise in finance, strategy, research, business operations and are deal focused. What you will do We are looking to fill two manager roles with a background in either Working capital advisory Debt advisory. Key attributes include: Lead and mentor a high-performing team. Conduct financial analysis of companies and develop cash flow models. Support business development opportunities and assist with market research. Working capital advisory Review business operations / process and conduct working capital diagnostic to understand opportunities to reduce working capital balance and release excess cash. Develop action plans to improve order to cash, procure to pay and inventory cycles. Develop strategies to stabilize cashflows and liquidity and assist in developing re-financing strategies which may include developing the turnaround plan. Debt Advisory Prepare marketing materials and develop the re-financing process. Assist with preparing re-financing and/or re-capitalization scenarios. Work with lenders and the company on key term sheet points and covenants. What you bring to the role 2-3 years of in debt advisory, banking, and/or restructuring OR working capital experience Experience at a manager level or equivalent (in Audit, Deal Advisory, etc.) Professional designation in accounting or business, (CPA, MBA) would be an asset. Ability to analyze transactional data, prepare financial models and interpret financial projections. Experience in debt restructuring and/or re-financing and working with companies to develop action plan to release excess cash. Excellent technical, analytical and computer skills including modeling in Excel. Demonstrated ability in managing conflicting demands and priorities, including managing client expectations, scope, and speed of service. Flexibility for mobility for out-of-town assignments KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information The expected base salary range for this position is $103000 to $138000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. Requirements

Candidates must have 2-3 years of experience in debt advisory, banking, or restructuring, ideally at a manager level. A professional designation such as a CPA or MBA is considered an asset for this role.
