Job summary

Position: Senior IAM Architect / Advisor Client: Financial Organization Location: Montreal Duration: 6 months initial with options for multiple years of extensions Language: English (French is nice to have) Background Kyndryl Canada is supporting our financial sector client who requires a Senior IAM Architect / Advisor to assist in the development of a forward thinking IAM roadmap. This role will also require subject matter expertise for IAM-related initiatives and advisory support for critical technology decisions, integration strategies, and compliance requirements Qualifications 10+ years of experience working in complex IAM environments. Domain expertise in many of the following domains: IGM, PAM, CIAM, WIAM, Zero Trust, IAM Deep expertise in IAM Architecture and IAM Governance. Familiarity with tools such as ForgeRock, Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, Microsoft Entra ID etc. Ability to work on-site or hybrid in Montreal Expected Tasks Create a forward-looking IAM strategy aligned with business objectives, regulatory obligations, and emerging technology trends (e.g. Al, Agentic Al, Identity Fabric, Zero Trust Architecture). Develop a structured and governable IAM roadmap supporting sustainable operations, robust governance, and scalability, serving as a blueprint for the adoption of an Identity Fabric approach. Create a value-driven execution framework, including but not limited to defined key Performance Indicators (KPIs),Key Risk Indicator (KRI), Control Performance Indicator (CPI), Risk Exposure Metric (REM) and return on investment (ROI) metrics to demonstrate progress and business impact throughout the program lifecycle. Subject matter expertise for IAM-related initiatives including: Advisory support for critical technology decisions, integration strategies, and compliance requirements; Support for activities such as risk assessments, policy development, and the adoption of operational best practices to strengthen IAM governance and security posture; Targeted production support activities such as issue analysis, root cause identification, and optimization recommendations for existing IAM capabilities; and Proactive advisory guidance on emerging IAM trends, technologies, and regulatory developments to ensure ongoing alignment with industry standards and future readiness. #IndKyn Please note this is for a contract position with one of our clients and not a fulltime employment role with Kyndryl Canada**
