We are currently seeking a professional, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at our Delta location. This role supports daily administrative operations across multiple departments and plays an important part in maintaining office operations, supporting employee onboarding activities, coordinating communications, and assisting with organizational processes. If you have the following, you may be the person we are looking for Qualifications & Requirements Diploma, certificate, or post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, Office Administration, or a related field preferred 1+ year of experience in an administrative, office support, receptionist, or clerical role Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Experience supporting HR or office operations is considered an asset If hired, what will you be doing at LabTest? Key Responsibilities The Administrative Assistant will support day-to-day office and administrative operations, including but not limited to: Provide administrative support to the HR, Operations, Accounting, and Certification departments Assist with reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and managing incoming inquiries Maintain and update administrative records, business licences, certificates of insurance, general liability and other insurance coverages, databases, directories, and office documentation Coordinate office supply inventory and place orders as required Support employee onboarding activities, including workstations, and employee setup requirements Coordinate internal and external shipments across LabTest locations Support scheduling, filing, document preparation, and data entry activities Assist with maintaining workplace organization and office procedures Support Joint Occupational Health & Safety activities Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow across the organization Assist with additional administrative tasks and projects as assigned This position requires on-site work within both office and laboratory environments and may involve collaboration across multiple departments. Full-time on-site position Standard schedule: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Office and laboratory environment May involve occasional lifting of office supplies or shipment materials Compensation Salary Range: CAD $21.00 – $24.00 per hour Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated capabilities.
