About The Opportunity We are looking to hire an Engineer in Training/Engineering Graduate (EIT) for one of our mine sites in Timmins, Ontario on a full-time basis. Candidates can choose a work schedule of either Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day, or 4 days on/3 days off, 10-hour shifts. Compensation: This position offers a salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience. Vacancy Status: This is an existing vacancy. The successful candidate may begin as soon as possible. Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position. As an Engineer in Training/Engineering Graduate, you will follow a rotation through various engineering functions (on surface and underground) that may include: surveying, ventilation, ground control, longhole planning, development design, scheduling and day-to-day tracking, and short-term planning. The role may include time embedded with various underground production crews in order to understand mine production roles firsthand. The following will be critical to successfully performing this role: Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from an accredited University Seeking P.Eng. license with PEO when eligible Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and techniques as they apply to ore body evaluation and underground mine operations Proficiency in mine planning software (Desik.CAD and Deswik.Sched) The applicant must be eligible to work in Canada As our ideal candidate, you are a motivated team player, and above all, you demonstrate compliance with all health and safety regulations.
