Job summary
Pay Range: CAD 60-65/hr We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with minimum 10 years of experience to design and develop modern cloud-native applications using React, Next.js, Node.js/.NET, and Azure services. The successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable web applications, developing secure APIs, integrating enterprise systems, and deploying solutions on Azure. Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Generative AI, or AI-enabled applications is considered an asset but is not the primary focus of this role. Key Responsibilities: Front-End Development • Develop responsive web applications using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. • Build reusable UI components and modern user experiences. • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and Azure services. • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and usability. Back-End Development • Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services. • Implement business logic, data access, and integration services. • Build scalable microservices and API-driven solutions. • Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms. Cloud & Azure Development • Design and deploy applications using Azure App Services and other Azure-native services. • Integrate applications with Azure Storage, Key Vault, Application Insights, and API Management. • Support Infrastructure as Code and cloud deployment automation. • Implement monitoring, logging, and operational support capabilities. Integration Development • Develop integrations with enterprise applications and third-party services. • Design API contracts and service interfaces. • Support event-driven and API-first architectures. • Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issues. DevOps & Engineering Practices • Work with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines. • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions. • Follow secure coding and software engineering best practices. • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders. AI & Innovation (Nice to Have) • Exposure to Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or Copilot technologies. • Experience integrating AI capabilities into business applications. • Familiarity with AI APIs, chatbots, or AI-assisted user experiences.
