Senior DevOps SRE Engineer

Job summary

Design and manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes across AWS and Azure environments. Support mission-critical production systems through monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, infrastructure optimization, and reliability improvements.

Pay Range: CAD 70-75/hr Qualifications 10+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering. Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud environments. Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, and configuration management tools. Proficiency in Python, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell scripting. Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident response, troubleshooting, and production support. Strong understanding of Linux administration, networking, application deployment, and cloud security. Experience with cloud migration, infrastructure optimization, high availability, and disaster recovery. Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams in Agile environments and support mission-critical production systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience implementing SRE best practices and defining service-level indicators (SLIs), service-level objectives (SLOs), and service-level agreements (SLAs). Experience with GitOps, automated infrastructure provisioning, and continuous delivery strategies. Knowledge of cloud security, server hardening, SSL/TLS certificate management, and vulnerability remediation. Experience improving deployment reliability, reducing operational toil, and optimizing cloud infrastructure costs.
