Education: Master's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Architectural firm. Tasks: Adjust their designs to conform to limiting factors such as budget allocation and cost of materials. Award construction contracts to building contractors . Consult with clients to determine the type, style and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered. Generate building plans and detailed drawings to be used by contractors and tradespersons.
