Watch Ledcor’s Innovation, Culture and Community video to see what it’s like working for Ledcor and apply today to join the true blue team - watch here Essential Responsibilities: · Execute shutdown and turnaround piping scopes, including maintenance, repairs, replacements, and system tie-ins · Perform line breaks, flange management, bolt-up, and valve work in accordance with outage schedules · Interpret isometrics, P&IDs, and work packages to complete assigned tasks safely and accurately · Support critical path activities, adapting to changing priorities in a time-sensitive environment · Work within strict permit, isolation, and LOTO procedures to ensure safe execution · Maintain high productivity and quality during extended shifts and compressed timelines · Participate in FLHAs, toolbox talks, and safety programs while contributing to a strong safety culture · Collaborate effectively within a large, multi-trade shutdown workforce Qualifications: · Registered Apprentice or Journeyperson Pipefitter certification · Proven experience in shutdowns, turnarounds, or outage maintenance in oil & gas or heavy industrial environments · Strong ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and P&IDs · Experience working on time-sensitive, schedule-driven projects with shifting priorities · Ability to work 10–12+ hour shifts, overtime, and consecutive days during shutdowns · Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and procedural compliance Additional Information Ledcor builds and maintains infrastructure in various industries including oil and gas, transportation, and mining. What you’ll do
Execute piping scopes including maintenance, repairs, and system tie-ins during industrial shutdowns and turnarounds. Ensure safe execution by following strict permit, isolation, and LOTO procedures while meeting demanding timelines.
Requirements
Requires a Registered Apprentice or Journeyperson Pipefitter certification with proven experience in oil and gas or heavy industrial outage environments. Must be able to interpret isometrics and P&IDs and work extended shifts of 10-12+ hours.
