Role Description The Accounting Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC. This role is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, including processing accounts payable and receivable, recording transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records. The Accounting Clerk will assist with reconciliations, help prepare basic financial reports, and ensure that invoices, payments, and expenses are correctly coded and documented. The role also involves working with accounting software, responding to internal inquiries, and collaborating with the finance team to meet reporting deadlines and uphold compliance with company policies. The successful candidate will contribute to efficient financial workflows and provide reliable administrative support to the accounting department. Qualifications Strong foundation in Accounting and Bookkeeping, with the ability to record and maintain accurate financial data. Experience with Accounting Software and basic Finance processes to support daily transactions and reporting. Ability to assist with preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and related documentation. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and comfort working with numerical data. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment. Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; previous experience in an accounting or clerical role is an asset. Familiarity with manufacturing or food processing environments is considered an advantage.
