Job summary

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Dayforce HRIS Consultant for a 4-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location The successful candidate will be required to work approximately 2 days per week on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON. Remaining days may be worked remotely. Key Tasks Provide expert-level administration, configuration, and optimization of the Dayforce platform Support ongoing Dayforce enhancement initiatives, including system cleanup and configuration improvements Assist with the implementation and configuration of new Dayforce modules, including Recruiting and Document Management Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Dayforce system issues Analyze existing configurations and recommend best practices to improve system performance, usability, and scalability Configure workflows, business processes, security roles, and system functionality Support Payroll and Benefits-related configurations and integrations Develop and improve operational reporting within Dayforce Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system enhancements Document configurations, processes, and technical solutions Mentor and provide hands-on training to the internal HR Systems Analyst to build long-term internal capability Promote knowledge transfer and establish sustainable Dayforce administration practices Key Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on Dayforce HRIS experience with proven configuration and administration expertise Experience implementing or configuring Dayforce modules including Recruiting, Document Management, Payroll, and Benefits Demonstrated experience mentoring or coaching internal HRIS resources with a focus on knowledge transfer Qualifications Previous Dayforce implementation experience Experience working within medium to large enterprise environments Experience supporting continuous improvement and optimization initiatives Ability to quickly assess existing system configurations and recommend improvements Consulting experience supporting multiple business stakeholders Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently and translate technical concepts into business-friendly language Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management skills Compensation Hourly Rate Negotiable This is an existing position vacancy.
