This position will oversee the Field Service operations for their assigned branch through the effective supervision and direction of the field service technicians. The Supervisor will determine methods and courses of action through efficient and effective planning, scheduling and performance management to ensure that exemplary customer service is delivered. Responsibilities Provide strong support and communication for designated Field Service Technicians to foster employee engagement, teamwork & top performance Oversee the daily scheduling and planning of Field Service Technicians to ensure that the workforce is adequately assigned to meet and exceed customer expectations Serve as front line customer contact for Field Service requests, follow-up and service issues Assist customers and Field Technicians with technical issues by phone, email and in person as needed (escalate to Technical Assistance as required) Prepare service/repair quotes for customers as needed Build customer relationships and resolve customer issues directly or escalate to Service Manager as required (visit customer sites as required) Open work orders (including monthly No Charges) as required Accurately review, approve and enter as required service reports, time sheets, work orders and parts requisitions Monitor, review and maximize efforts to ensure appropriate levels of WIP on a daily basis and maintain timely closing/invoicing of all field jobs Champion and maintain all safety rules and procedures Liaise with Parts regarding parts ordering and availability to ensure timely completion of jobs Other duties as assigned Competencies Must have experience within the Heavy Equipment or related industry, Heavy Equipment License is preferred 3+ years Supervisory or Management experience is required, OEM experience strongly preferred Exceptional interpersonal, coaching & leadership skills are required High level of professionalism and ability to interact calmly while under pressure Agile and adaptable to the changing demands of the industry Customer and employee centric Computer Proficient - Word, Excel (MS Office Suite) Valid driver's license is required Our Offer Competitive wages Extensive benefits with employer paid premiums starting day 1 Paid vacation starting at 3 weeks PLUS 6 dedicated family, health and wellness days 6% employer RRSP matching $3000 annual allowance for continuing education International training & development work opportunities for select roles* And much more! Requirements
Requires experience in the heavy equipment or a related industry, at least three years of supervisory or management experience, and a valid driver's license; OEM experience and a heavy equipment license are preferred. Candidates should have strong leadership, coaching, interpersonal, customer-service, adaptability, professionalism, and Microsoft Office skills.
