Job summary
The Return to Work program at Lifemark Sunpark Plaza is looking for a kinesiologist to join our team! The Lifemark RTW program provides interdisciplinary care for injured workers in preparation for return to work. Clients are referred from WCB following workplace musculoskeletal injuries (e.g., sprains/strains, tendonitis, fractures, dislocations, etc.). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, with a goal of improving function, managing symptoms, and reducing the impact of workplace injury on clients’ lives. The kinesiologist position requires working closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and physicians. There is also plenty of opportunities to collaborate with other kinesiologists. The successful candidate will also have the potential to grow into more diverse populations, including chronic health conditions in long-term disability claims and motor vehicle accidents. Location: 213 – 40 Sunpark Plaza SE, Calgary AB Start date: June 2026 Schedule: Monday to Friday Status: Permanent Full-Time Mandatory requirements: Registration with the Alberta Kinesiology Association is required Your day-to-day in the role: * Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments * Design, implement and supervise graded exercise & work conditioning programs * Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis * Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients * Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge * Communicate with external stakeholders and client referral sources * Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team at your clinic to ensure best client care * Manage caseload in a fast-paced environment What you bring to the team: • Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program • Registration with Alberta Kinesiology Association is required • 2+ years of experience considered an asset Inclusion We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive. Requirements
Candidates must hold a university degree in Kinesiology and maintain active registration with the Alberta Kinesiology Association. Two or more years of relevant experience is considered an asset for this role.
