Job summary

Job Title: Clerk – Stores Job Summary Responsible for maintaining the necessary inventory levels of manufacturing supplies and tools to support production requirements. Responsibility * Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies and store in orderly and accessible manner. * Process incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies for internal use. * Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using manual or computerized inventory system. * Prepare requisitions to replenish parts and supplies. * Assist purchasing personnel in procurement functions on a daily basis, order replenishment, follow up with suppliers, and expedite past due orders. * Conduct cycle counts as per cycle count policy. Academic/Educational Requirements * Completion of secondary school or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Required Skills/Experience * Strong inventory and stock keeping capabilities. * Able to read and interpret blueprint drawings. * Strong knowledge of ERP systems. * Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
