JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, this position is a key player in ensuring the smooth flow of all inbound and outgoing shipments, including all corresponding documentation. The Shipper & Receiver Assistant receives, unpacks, checks, and stores goods and materials. In addition, filling requisition & orders, packing boxes, preparing skids, and shipping products and materials to customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Assist with Pre-Planning Daily Shipment: Picking, packing and shipping skids, parcels, and boxes. * Assist shipping of all orders from the facility in a timely manner. * Assist with preparation of shipping documents. * Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. * Collaborates and communicates with customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. * Receiving all goods in a timely manner and verifying against packing slips and purchase order. * Loading and unloading goods from tractor trailers and vans by Forklift Truck and by hand. * Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. * Responsible for distributing/moving goods to designated location within the facility. * Follow Health and Safety Requirements in the shipping/receiving, storage and delivery areas, maintaining a clean working environment. * Other duties as needed. Education & Experience Qualifications: * Must be able to speak English. * 1+ years of experience in a similar role (Logistics, Shipping, or Warehouse) * Proficient computer skills * Exceptional customer service skills * Be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly - Using proper lifting techniques * Good communications skills * Excellent attention to detail and organization skills * Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well with a team. * Self-motivated.
