JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, this position is a key player in ensuring the smooth flow of all inbound and outgoing shipments, including all corresponding documentation. The Shipper & Receiver Assistant receives, unpacks, checks, and stores goods and materials. In addition, filling requisition & orders, packing boxes, preparing skids, and shipping products and materials to customers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Assist with Pre-Planning Daily Shipment: Picking, packing and shipping skids, parcels, and boxes. * Assist shipping of all orders from the facility in a timely manner. * Assist with preparation of shipping documents. * Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. * Collaborates and communicates with customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. * Receiving all goods in a timely manner and verifying against packing slips and purchase order. * Loading and unloading goods from tractor trailers and vans by Forklift Truck and by hand. * Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. * Responsible for distributing/moving goods to designated location within the facility. * Follow Health and Safety Requirements in the shipping/receiving, storage and delivery areas, maintaining a clean working environment. * Other duties as needed. Education & Experience Qualifications: * Must be able to speak English. * 1+ years of experience in a similar role (Logistics, Shipping, or Warehouse) * Proficient computer skills * Exceptional customer service skills * Be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly - Using proper lifting techniques * Good communications skills * Excellent attention to detail and organization skills * Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well with a team. * Self-motivated. The Shipper-Receiver is responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, including verifying goods against documentation and preparing orders for dispatch. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in logistics, shipping, or warehouse roles and possess proficient computer and communication skills. The role requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and the ability to work effectively within a team.
