Frontend Software Engineer

LiveBarn is looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join our evolving and fast-paced technology team. In this role, you will focus on developing and maintaining our product website as well as internal tools. We are looking for a passionate individual who is eager to adapt and learn LiveBarn’s development standards and design practices. What will you be doing? Design, develop, optimize, and maintain fully responsive websites from end to end using today's best standards Develop, implement, and maintain front-end applications with Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Maintain and improve our front-end code, code review, design brainstorming Perform code walkthroughs and testing Provide development recommendations of all supported application technologies What Do You Need to Succeed? 5+ years of experience as a frontend software engineer Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience Strong grasp of adaptive/responsive web design, including accessibility best practices (ARIA attributes) Open-minded and willing to adapt to existing development standards and structures. Strong ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Bilingualism is considered an asset (English required to support and service out-of-province clients) Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement. Strong hands-on experience with all of the following skills: JavaScript and TypeScript React.js REST API and GraphQL API integrations Material-UI, SCSS Jest, React Testing Library Git LiveBarn is an equal opportunity employer. Design, develop, and maintain fully responsive websites and internal tools using modern frontend standards. This includes performing code reviews, testing, and providing technical recommendations for application technologies.

Requires over 5 years of frontend engineering experience and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and API integrations is essential, along with a strong grasp of accessibility best practices.
