Standard Job Description This co-op position is to support the Communications Integrated Product Team within the River Class Destroyer (RCD) Program. The candidate will be joining a multi-disciplined team environment. The Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Collaborating on system design activities with senior systems engineering and other engineering staff, including supporting technical reviews Performing requirements analysis Reviewing requirements, requirements allocation and trade studies Performing system modelling and design, including Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) System architecture and design System integration planning Design documentation Planning and managing team tasks in JIRA Managing team information in Confluence Following systems engineering processes and best practices. Basic Qualifications Pursuing a degree in System Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical members of the engineering/management staff and personnel assigned to related work Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner Candidate must be available for four (4) months, starting January 2027 Desired Skills Aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environment Have a high degree of initiative and autonomy Have a high learning ability Ability to adapt and perform in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks Experience with Agile methods Experience with Jira and Confluence Experience with Communications Systems or relevant course.

Requirements
