Standard Job Description The candidate will participate in engineering activities including but not limited to: Hardware and software design and requirements analysis Review and analyze vendor data for: Reliability, Availability and Maintainability predictions Failure Modes, Effects, & Criticality Analysis (FMECA) Appropriately placed repair, sparing, and lifecycle cost predictions Functional Block Diagrams (FBDs) Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs) Participating in design and system architecture reviews Ensuring Design for Supportability and Engineering for Supportability (Dependability, affordability, standardization, upgradeability) activities are being considered and captured. Basic Qualifications Pursuing a degree in System/Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Technical mindset to breakdown systems into logical units Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and their components Aptitude for working well in teams and solving challenging problems in a team environment Ability to work independently Well organized, capable of planning, scheduling and prioritizing work Available for a minimum of four (4) months, up to eight (8) months, starting September 2026. Desired Skills Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Knowledge of Systems Modelling Language (SysML), Unified Modelling Language (UML) Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office, Visio, SharePoint, Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS®), Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Jira Results-Oriented Self-Starter Attitude.

Requirements

Applicants must be pursuing a degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field and be eligible for NATO Secret clearance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a technical mindset for troubleshooting complex systems are required.
