General Purpose of the Position: We are seeking a Seasonal Operations Specialist to join our team at Loro Piana. The Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in the overall success of the business by supporting all operational and inventory-related activities. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, replenishing products on the sales floor, and organizing inventory to maximize efficiency. You will collaborate with all members of the team to ensure that stockroom conditions align with Loro Piana standards, contributing to seamless store operations. Job Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Optimize inventory flow and streamline operational processes while handling the accurate processing of shipments and transfers. Oversee the movement of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to align with sales potential. Conduct cycle counts as per corporate calendar to verify product quantities and report discrepancies in a timely manner. Perform regular audits to verify product conditions. Facilitate the implementation of security measures through inspections, audits, and preparing products for display. Ensure ongoing inventory organization according to company procedures and establish an optimized warehouse layout for improved accessibility by the sales team. Maintain clean, neat, and organized stock rooms with proper labeling to facilitate sales. Maintain effective communication with the operations team and external couriers to ensure accurate shipping procedures and timely delivery. Provide the sales team with detailed updates regarding inventory availability to support the sales process and enhance sales performance. Profile Skills And Abilities Required 3+ years of operational and inventory experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of operations and inventory control. Ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds.
