Part-time Administrative Support, Executive Services - Contract - 19358 About The Opportunity LRO Staffing is partnering with a well-established organization to recruit an Administrative Support, Executive Services professional for a part-time contract opportunity in downtown Ottawa. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative professional who enjoys being the person behind the scenes keeping senior leaders organized and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. The successful candidate will provide administrative and organizational support to the President, Directors of Operations and Finance, and the broader Corporate team, while also supporting Board and governance activities, projects, vendors, travel, and basic accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently with senior leadership. The client is open to a variety of part-time schedules, providing flexibility around how the approximately 20-22 hours per week are structured. Duties include but are not limited to: Provide administrative and organizational support to the President and Directors of Operations and Finance Support the day-to-day operations of the Corporate team Manage calendars, agendas, meeting logistics, and travel arrangements Coordinate office requirements, including supplies, refreshments, training materials, and cleaning schedules Support reception and general administrative functions Maintain departmental files, trackers, corporate records, and governance documentation Support Board and committee meetings, including meeting logistics, agendas, documentation, and follow-up Coordinate vendor services, including hotels, car rentals, and office-related services Assist with project coordination, research, reporting, and special initiatives Participate in health and safety meetings and take meeting minutes Support recruitment logistics, including job postings and coordination Assist with exercise and training programs as required Work with the Client Services Coordinator to ensure Advisor and Contractor contracts are accurate and complete Provide backup support to the Client Services Coordinator as required Assist with basic accounting and administrative functions, including Accounts Payable, supplier invoice validation, expense tracking, and purchase orders Handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment Work closely with employees and management at all levels across the organization About You The successful candidate will have the following: Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 2 years of administrative or client support experience Previous experience supporting executives, a Board of Directors, or governance committees is considered an asset Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and administrative abilities with exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritize competing demands and work effectively under pressure Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information Comfortable working with senior leadership and supporting multiple stakeholders Bilingual French/English proficiency is an asset About the Job Work Arrangement: Onsite - Downtown Ottawa Hours: Approximately 20-22 hours per week Schedule: Flexible - 5 mornings per week, 3 full days per week, or another mutually agreeable part-time schedule Duration: ASAP to December 31, 2026 Hourly Rate: $25.00 to $30.00/hour How To Apply Please apply by clicking the “Apply Now” button below and follow the instructions to submit your résumé.
