This important role supports the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) in ensuring food quality and safety standards in our grocery stores. This is a flexible, part-time position ideal for someone looking to earn extra income while contributing to public health and safety. Responsibilities: • Purchase designated food samples from various grocery stores on a weekly basis. • Properly package and label food samples according to laboratory requirements. • Ship samples to the testing laboratory within specified timelines. • Maintain accurate records of purchased items, store locations, and shipping details. • Communicate with the lab and supervisor regarding any issues or requirements. Requirements: • Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation. • Access to a computer with Microsoft Excel and a printer. • Ability to follow detailed instructions for packaging and shipping. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Comfortable handling food products and ensuring proper storage.
