Job summary
Executive Chef MacDonald Search Group has been asked by our food service client to find a first-class Executive Chef to join their team in Williamsburg, ON (in-office). The primary responsibility of this role will be to lead all kitchen operations while delivering high-quality, scratch-made meals and baked goods that drive customer satisfaction and repeat business. Some of what you will do in this role includes: Develop and execute seasonal menus featuring baked goods, hot meals, and take-out offerings Oversee daily kitchen production including pastries, soups, casseroles, and comfort food items Lead, schedule, and mentor a small kitchen team to ensure consistency and efficiency Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs while minimizing waste Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety standards You should have the following in your background to apply: 3–5+ years of experience in a professional kitchen with strong baking capabilities Proven leadership experience in a small team or independent kitchen environment Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail Passion for scratch cooking, comfort food, and high-quality ingredients Food Handler certification (or willingness to obtain) Salary range: $60k-$80k If this sounds like a role where you could excel, please apply.
