The Physical Therapist Assistant and Occupational Therapist Assistant program is a highly successful two-year diploma program at MacEwan University that prepares graduates to work collaboratively with other professionals in the physical and occupational therapy fields. Applications are invited for sessional instructor position(s) in the Physical Therapist Assistant and Occupational Therapist Assistant program at MacEwan University to teach in-person 1st and 2nd year courses in Winter 2027, with potential consideration in other terms. Candidates with a combination of master’s level post-secondary education in Occupational Therapy, proficiency in clinical practice, and knowledge of theory, policy, and curriculum will be considered. Both proficiency working with Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistants and post-secondary teaching experience are assets. Successful candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching, a student-centered approach to learning, and a strong understanding of human anatomy from an applied health perspective.
