Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Consultant role based at MacMaster Buick GMC in Orangeville, ON. The Sales Consultant will greet and engage customers, understand their vehicle needs, and present suitable new and pre-owned Buick and GMC options. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting test drives, explaining features and benefits, preparing price quotations, and guiding customers through financing and lease options in coordination with the Finance Department. The role also involves maintaining product knowledge, following up with prospective and existing customers, and ensuring a professional, welcoming showroom experience. The Sales Consultant will work closely with the Parts & Service teams to support customers before and after the sale and contribute to overall dealership sales goals. Qualifications Strong sales-focused skills, including Sales Consulting and Consulting, with the ability to match customer needs to appropriate vehicles and solutions. Demonstrated commitment to Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a friendly, professional approach to building long-term relationships. Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening. Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales is an asset. Comfort working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and collaborating with cross-functional dealership teams. Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM or dealership management systems are beneficial. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to conduct test drives. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by dealership operations.
