The company focuses on the acquisition, upgrading, and management of its own portfolio of nearly 20,000 residential apartments across four provinces in Canada. Duties and Responsibilities * Order and track office supplies and complete monthly inventory. * Greet residents, prospective tenants, and visitors professionally. Provide rental information and assist with lease signing as needed. * Answer phone calls and emails regarding rentals, maintenance, contractors, city services, and general inquiries. * Collect rent payments, issue receipts, make deposits, and close receipt batches. * Process rental applications, complete credit checks, and assist with lease documentation. * Maintain tenant records and update databases, including contact information and lease dates. * Review website listings for accuracy. * Request power reconnection for units with disconnected service. * Sort and distribute office mail and packages. * Assist with Form 7 and Form 15 issuance and record keeping. * Review ledger charges and move-in/move-out documents, and follow up on required corrections. * Provide daily dashboard updates. * Maintain document control and perform general office duties, including filing and scanning. * Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications * Previous administrative or accounting experience is an asset. * Basic knowledge of accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP). * Good data entry skills and attention to detail. * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. * Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Ability to handle confidential information and work independently or as part of a team.
