Position Summary We are hiring Pest Control Assistant who will be responsible for pest control duties in the assigned location(s) within a residential multi-family setting. Key Duties and Responsibilities * Inspect buildings and outside areas to identify infestation source * Inspect infested area and determine type of treatment required * Assist to prepare and spray chemical mixture on infested areas using mechanical or electric tools * Place and set traps; and install other animal control barriers as required * Check suites to confirm if they are prepared for pest treatment; and physically prepare suites if they are not prepared * Clean out areas that harbor pests * Advise managers and tenants on how to prevent pest infestation. * Post required notices for pest control treatment * Assist in moving furniture, etc. * Ensure that all work is documented and updated according to Company's policy, prepare and submit reports * Other relevant duties as assigned by Manager Qualifications and Requirements * Provincial pesticide applicator license will be an asset * Valid First Aid and CPR certificate will be an asset * Prior pest control experience in a residential multi-family environment will be an asset * Able to work inside/outside in all weather * Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle * Must successfully complete a security clearance * Physically fit, able to lift more than 50lb

The Pest Control Assistant is responsible for inspecting residential properties to identify infestations and applying appropriate chemical or mechanical treatments. They also document all work performed and advise tenants and managers on preventative measures.

Candidates should be physically fit and able to lift over 50 lbs, with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. While not mandatory, a provincial pesticide applicator license and prior experience in a multi-family environment are considered assets.
