Job summary
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Mammoet is looking for a task-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our Tendering and Estimating team in the Edmonton region. This role will be responsible for the creation of estimate packages, project estimations, technical risk mitigation plans, and bid preparation, all in alignment with internal bidding protocols. This ensures that the company submits well-considered, comprehensive proposals that meet both customer expectations and internal bidding standards, all within the established timelines. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Responsibilities (including but not limited to) Conduct all business in a professional, respectful manner Ensure the quotations prepared are in line with the global tendering guidelines Engage with operations/engineering and any other internal stakeholders to ensure proposals are operationally feasible with execution methods confirmed by engineering. Support and applyTendering/Estimating policies while developing commercial and execution strategies geared towards increasing the award probability while maintaining the desired profitability levels. Understand project requirements to propose technical and logistical solutions that addresses such requirements Estimates the cost of work and provide quotes or bid packages to the client Follows up with clients to determine the status of the quoted work and answer any questions they may have WHAT YOU’LL NEED Education & Experience Diploma or degree in a related technical field preferred (CET, EIT) Heavy Lift/Crane/Transport technical understanding desired Industrial or Pre-Construction Management experience in similar industry Basic level experience in sales systems Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset Competencies of a Successful Candidate: Deciding and Initiating Action Leading and Supervising Analysing Relating and Networking Planning and Organizing Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations Adapting and Responding to Change Coping with Pressure and Setbacks Supporting internal/external customers Efficient time management and prioritization WHAT YOU’LL GET Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Company sponsored wellness program and initiatives Company sponsored social events WANT TO KNOW MORE?
