Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain physical and virtual test bench solutions for embedded avionics systems. Develop and integrate software applications on physical and virtual test platforms. Assemble, configure, and integrate hardware components for aerospace test benches. Develop models and virtual representations of aircraft equipment and systems. Create test tools, support applications, automated scripts, and acceptance test suites. Integrate test tools and automation scripts into existing engineering processes and workflows. Participate in supplier evaluation, technical selection activities, and follow-up after purchase order issuance. Produce and maintain technical documentation related to test means, tools, and test bench solutions. Support change control activities and continuous improvement initiatives for test means and tools. Support and participate in IVVQ test campaigns, troubleshooting activities, and system integration efforts. Analyze electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system interfaces to support integration and troubleshooting. Required Competencies Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Experience integrating hardware and software components in complex systems. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve integration issues and system failures. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Experience programming in one or more languages such as LabVIEW, Simulink, C/C++, Python, Rust, or database technologies is considered an asset. Experience developing real-time applications is considered an asset. Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles is considered an asset. Knowledge of hydraulic systems is considered an asset. Experience with CAD tools and technical drawings is considered an asset. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret electrical drawings and wiring schematics. Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills. Miscellaneous Requirements Work can be done remotely. For employees based in Montreal, the work model is hybrid (at least one day at the office).
