The Opportunity As part of the Freight Audit Team, the Freight Costing Administrator is responsible for the administration of the account’s payable functions, including the accurate allocation of freight costs and the timely processing and resolution of carrier freight invoices. Reason for vacancy: Existing Headcount Base Salary: $41,000 - $55,000 CAD base pay annually The above base salary reflects the target compensation for the position at the time of posting. The base salary offered may vary based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, education, training, job- related knowledge, and other organizational requirements. For part-time roles, salaries are adjusted according to scheduled hours. Snapshot Of a Day-in-the-Life Audit freight invoices against SAP/TM system accruals Accruing correct costs based on carrier rates (SAP/TM systems) Perform month-end reconciliation of all open accruals and carrier statements Communicate to carriers and resolve any invoice issues Maintain period-end reports Data entry Work along side carrier management team for escalations or any dispute resolutions. What You’ll Bring Accounts payable experience, preferably in a transportation environment Solid communication skills, verbal and written Demonstrate self-motivation and independence; able to work on own initiative with little direct supervision Ability to quickly prioritize individual responsibilities and efficiently manage time Proven Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, & Word.
