This is a Hybrid role requiring 2 days/week on-site in either Toronto, ON or Montreal, QC. ________________________________________ Position Summary The Solutions Analyst is a client-facing role responsible for understanding, analyzing, and documenting client needs and translating them into clear, actionable requirements for Product and Development teams. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, Product and Development teams, and third-party vendors to clarify requirements, identify gaps and risks, and ensure business needs are clearly understood before work progresses. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Lead client requirements workshops and discovery sessions to understand business needs, processes, objectives, and desired outcomes. Analyze client needs and translate them into clear business and functional requirements, workflows, user stories, and supporting documentation. Work with Product, Development, clients, and third-party vendors to clarify requirements and ensure alignment between business needs and proposed solutions. Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, conflicting requirements, and areas requiring further analysis. Manage outstanding requirements and work with clients to obtain necessary information, decisions, and approvals within agreed timelines. Maintain accurate requirements documentation and ensure changes to agreed requirements are clearly captured and communicated. Support change control by identifying changes in client requirements and communicating their potential impact to relevant stakeholders. Develop and maintain requirements templates, workflows, procedures, and other documentation used across the Product team. Provide subject matter expertise and training to clients and internal teams on implementation and ongoing processing concepts. Contribute to continuous improvement of requirements processes, documentation standards, and client engagement practices. ________________________________________ Required Qualifications 3–7 years of experience in requirements analysis, business analysis, technical writing, benefits administration, insurance, pension operations, claims, or a related technology environment. Experience working directly with clients to gather, analyze, clarify, and document requirements. Experience leading client workshops, discovery sessions, or requirements clarification meetings. Strong understanding of business benefits administration processes and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements for technical teams. Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with strong technical and business documentation abilities. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in benefits administration, insurance, claims, pension operations, or a similar industry is required. Education, training, or equivalent practical experience in benefits, insurance, finance, pensions, business analysis, technical writing, or a related field. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications Experience with billing and financial systems. Experience with Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint. GBA or CEBS designation, or progress toward either designation. Experience developing requirements templates, workflows, procedures, and documentation standards.
