Key Responsibilities Embody and promote company’s core values (Integrity, Growth and Resilience). Production Planning & Scheduling Transform sales forecasts and customer demand into efficient production plans that support our service and growth goals. Develop and manage weekly and daily production schedules while balancing capacity, labor requirements, and planned downtime. Leverage ERP technology, data analytics, and continuous improvement principles to optimize planning performance. Inventory & Materials Planning Ensure the right materials are available at the right time by managing inventory, lead times, and production requirements. Monitor finished goods inventory to maintain high service levels while reducing excess stock and waste. Support smarter inventory decisions through proactive planning and analysis. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to maximize efficiency and production flow. Coordinate resources and planning activities to support on-time production and customer deliveries. Contribute to process improvement initiatives that strengthen operational performance. Risk Management & Reporting Proactively identify and communicate risks that could impact production schedules, material availability, or customer commitments. Provide planning insights and reports that support informed business decisions. Monitor planning performance and drive solutions that improve reliability and execution. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational requirements. Requirements Qualifications Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in production planning, materials planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations. Experience developing and managing production schedules in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of inventory management, capacity planning, and material requirements planning (MRP). Experience using ERP systems for planning and scheduling activities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in food manufacturing, dairy manufacturing, or another regulated production environment. Experience implementing or improving planning systems, tools, and processes. Experience with AI-powered planning tools, predictive analytics, or advanced planning software.
