Role Description The Dental Receptionist is a part-time, on-site role based in Maple, ON. This role involves greeting patients, checking them in and out, and providing a friendly first point of contact for the practice. Daily responsibilities include managing appointment scheduling, confirming and updating patient information, and handling phone calls and email inquiries in a professional manner. The Dental Receptionist will coordinate patient flow, support the dental team with administrative tasks, process payments, and assist with maintaining organized records. This role requires consistent attention to detail, a welcoming demeanor, and a commitment to delivering a positive patient experience. Qualifications Strong Receptionist Duties and front desk experience, including greeting patients, managing check-in/check-out, and handling basic administrative tasks. Proficiency in Appointment Scheduling and calendar management, ideally within a dental or medical practice management system. Excellent Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, with the ability to respond to inquiries clearly, courteously, and professionally. Basic understanding of Dental Care terminology and procedures, or willingness to learn to better support patients and the clinical team. Prior experience in a dental or healthcare office is an asset; customer service or hospitality experience is beneficial. Comfort using computers and office software; familiarity with electronic health records is an advantage. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, and able to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.

Requirements
